Summary The Hungarian DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 8,000 on a party. The party had suffered a data protection breach resulting in six Excel files being made accessible on the Internet. The files contained personal data of party members. The incident affected approximately 2,000 data subjects. During its investigation, the DPA found that the party had failed to take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, which allowed such an incident to occur.
