Details:

Summary The Italian DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 5,000 on Cisterna di Latina Municipality. An individual had filed a complaint with the DPA. The individual had submitted a request to the municipality for access to their personal data. Due to an error, the data was not disclosed to the data subject but to a third party. For this reason, the data subject did not receive a response to his request. In addition the DPA found that the municipality had not appointed a data protection officer.
