Summary The Italian DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 2,000 on Immobiliare Riscostruzione Meloria s.r.l.. The controller had installed a video surveillance system at its office which covered parts of a common entrance to the building and thus also recorded residents of the building. During its investigation, the DPA found that the information sign regarding the video surveillance did not contain sufficient information on the purpose of the processing of personal data and the contact details of the data controller.
