Summary | The Spanish DPA (AEPD) has imposed a fine on a Homeowners Association. The association had installed several video surveillance cameras across the residential area which, among other things, also covered the public space. The DPA considered this to be a violation of the principle of data minimization. The original fine of EUR 1,500 was reduced to EUR 900 due to voluntary payment and admission of responsibility. |
