Summary | The Spanish DPA has imposed a fine on a private individual. The controller had installed video surveillance cameras which, among other things, also covered the public space and a neighbouring property. The DPA considered this to be a violation of the principle of data minimization. The original fine of EUR 300 was reduced to EUR 180 due to voluntary payment and admission of responsibility. |
