| Summary | The Spanish DPA (AEPD) has fined a private individual EUR 600 for unauthorized video surveillance. The controller had installed a video surveillance camera which covered, among other things, neighboring houses and a public street. The DPA considered this to be a violation of the principle of data minimization. Due to voluntary payment the original fine in the amount of EUR 750 has been reduced to EUR 600. |
